On Christmas Eve 1944, 158th Company arrive at Kapellen in Antwerp, Belgium. The German Forces attempt to destroy the strategically important port of Antwerp with intensive V1 and V2 bombing.

158 Coy are responsible for carrying out repair work  needed  from the  bombing in Antwerp City, as well as completing work on the Kapellen military railway and constructing new bridges.
